I noticed that D-Links MS Stora MS2000 is not listed, I am thinking of buying the MS2000 or the DNS-320. Basically I want to install 2 x 2tb drives which I want to share as 2 x 2tb drives (not mirrored or spanned/concatinated) with music and video and if possible stream mkv files to my PS3. Any thoughts?
Hi Matthew,
the Stora MS2000 is a Device from Netgear. As the Netgear-device doesn’t support fun_plug (yet?), i haven’t had a look at it. I’d personally buy the D-Link DNS-320 as it’s fun_pluggable.
Best Regards,
Uli
Hi Uli,
I have a DNS-340 l, and i’m unsure, this will work with my nas.
Could you advise me ?
Thanks Uli,
It may not be compatible with the fun_plug but you can customise it.

I think I am either going to get the DNS-320 or build my own.
Great site, lots of useful information, keep up the good work.
Did you notice the ZyXEL NSA320?
Seems to have a 1.2 GHz Marvell 88F6281 Kirkwood and 512 MB RAM inside. It is available at a good price, the D-Link DNS-325 is more expensive.
I would be interested in your opinions on the device.
I have seen it, but unfortunately i don’t have a NAS320 yet. Thus i can’t tell anything about performance, reliability or usability of the device, sorry.
Cheers,
Uli
Any knowledge about fun_plug on the D-Link 326? It appears to be a visual duplicate of the 323 but has different firmware.
It is on D-Link’s technical support page here:
http://tsd.dlink.com.tw/downloads2008list.asp?Category=eStorage
Just try 🙂
Cheers,
Uli
There is a working method to use the CONCEPTRONIC CH3ENAS?
Thanks
Hi there,
Nice to see such web site.
I bought a DLINK DNS-320 may be i was crazy that day… Nevertheless, is there a huge difference between dns-320 and dns-320L in terms of firmware?
This question because I was looking for Ipad/Iphone access (not possible on dns-320 with dlink dedicated apps) but may be installed as package to be able to use mydlink stuff https://fr.mydlink.com/entrance
Hello, thanks for the site.
Can you please tell me why the DNS-231 is not listed? Is this for some technical limitation of the device, or is it technically identical to another device (such as the 323)?
Thanks and Cheers!
Thanks for all information and guides.
I bought D-link DNS-320L and i can say that Fun_plug 0.7 is awasome. It was possible via the plug to install miniDLNA and now i can enjoy subtitles on my Panasonic dlna tv.
Also i see that information about DNS-320L is missing. It is quite similar to DNS-320, the only differences are hardware processore, more RAM and disks mapping – /mnt/HD/HD_a1/ instead of /mnt/HD_a1/. I would like to help with adding and DNS-320L. I can provide information, photos and if necessary to help with guide for installing miniDLNA.
Cheers,
Siviq
I have a DNS 320L.
I need to make some changes in fun_plug file?
Plugin is not installed.
Thank you.
(Google translator) 🙂
Could a D-Link DNS-340L work with Fun_Plug?
It would be nice if yes.
@Sopalajo – Just wondering how has your 340L so far with Fun_Plug ?
Well, I do actually have a Conceptronic CH3SNAS (hardware very close to 340L, or maybe the same).
It seems to be working all right, even with services (daemons) like OpenSSH, CRON… etc.
Noted. Thanks.
Hey there
few months ago I bought a NAS Orico 3559u3rf. It supports up to 5 discs, Giga Ethernet port, 1 USB 3.0 port and 2 USB 2.0 host ports
It cost me 300€ from an AlliedExpless shop
It run Linux, possibly 2.6.32
Has anyone tried it?
Haw can I upload same information about it?
thanks
Just to note that fun_plug 0.7 works on a DLink-DNS340L ( 4 bay device )
I want to know if the fun_plug works on Trendnet TN-200 NAS.
Not that i am aware of.
It will be more painless if you stick to the models that are here or at nas-central.org
Is the D-Link DNS-321 supported by either the 320 or 323 version? Thanks
