Uli bought his first CH3SNAS in May 2007. Now he owns several NAS-Devices for the backup and storage of media data.Feel free to visit his Homepage: http://wolf-u.li (German)
Did his posts help you? Please consider buying him a coffee (or two)!
I noticed that D-Links MS Stora MS2000 is not listed, I am thinking of buying the MS2000 or the DNS-320. Basically I want to install 2 x 2tb drives which I want to share as 2 x 2tb drives (not mirrored or spanned/concatinated) with music and video and if possible stream mkv files to my PS3. Any thoughts?
the Stora MS2000 is a Device from Netgear. As the Netgear-device doesn’t support fun_plug (yet?), i haven’t had a look at it. I’d personally buy the D-Link DNS-320 as it’s fun_pluggable.
I have seen it, but unfortunately i don’t have a NAS320 yet. Thus i can’t tell anything about performance, reliability or usability of the device, sorry.
The goal of NAS-Tweaks.net is to allow owners of small Network-Attached Storage (NAS) devices to communicate with each other about technical- or usage matters related to their device. We hope the site will also help the developers who create these devices to learn about user issues and enable developers and users to informally communicate. Read more

Thanks Uli,
It may not be compatible with the fun_plug but you can customise it.

I think I am either going to get the DNS-320 or build my own.
Great site, lots of useful information, keep up the good work.
Did you notice the ZyXEL NSA320?
Seems to have a 1.2 GHz Marvell 88F6281 Kirkwood and 512 MB RAM inside. It is available at a good price, the D-Link DNS-325 is more expensive.
I would be interested in your opinions on the device.

Any knowledge about fun_plug on the D-Link 326? It appears to be a visual duplicate of the 323 but has different firmware.
It is on D-Link’s technical support page here:

Just try
